New and Improved Bubblews Site Makes Me Go Hmm

     So Bubblews launched its new and improved site. I notice they have a lot of neat features, you can now see how many views you recieve, there is a delay to like a post which is supposed to make some people read the post. There are other changes I haven't found yet.

     I am not sure I like the new design, it is very busy and a lot of ads flashing and flickering about. I don't like that there is no way to make a paragraph break so the sentences just run together. But then the site is not about quality writing, it is about socializing.

     They do have a way to help bring outside traffic I think but why bother, they don't pay for that.

     I won't go there anymore than I did because of the low pay. The pay is what made me leave. I just can't work for pennies a month. 

Bubblews Bubble Burst

     I don't go to Bubblews often because well, while it is nice to read online stuff and commuincate online, I don't have time to just play online. I have to make a living and feed my family. I used to go to Bubblews for some extra money and had fun there too. Then they changed things and of course as we all know they no longer appreciated good articles and those who were there only wanted fluff. I complied and had fun for a while making a bit of change along the way.
    
     Then the bottom dropped out, the bubble burst. Income on Bubblews became pretty much non existent.

      I cashed out in January and have made $21.00 since. Actually most of that was in late Jan, since about Feb I have earned $3.00 maybe. Granted I don't write there much, I don't' communicate much and I'm just not there much. There are some interesting things to read but much of the writing there is very short and really not much meat to it. If it is long it is very long and more than I want to read. Sometimes there's that middle ground but it just is not my cup of tea anymore and, there's pretty much no income which bottom line, is the reason I am there.  I can socialize on Fb and that is what it is for, the other sites are for income.

     I mostly go back to Bubblews from time to time to see if maybe things are getting bettter there, so far they are not...so as the bubble burst, my interest waned. I still hope people will purchase my book.

Bubblews Gone to the Dogs

So I decide every so often to check out Bubblews to see what is up there. I checked today and found many of the posts to be just social media type posts. I guess that is what the site is about but it is not what I am about. I find what someone had for dinner or how they pooped that day very boring. I know people don't write about poop there but it is about that exciting for me.

I still find it very sad that a site which had such promise and was a great and fun place to write has gone to the dogs in just a year. The site is so well set up too. But there is no meat to the content. Plus the pay is so low that it is not worth it. Granted the pay blogging is not much better but at least here I am not lining someone elses pockets.

Will I go to Bubblews from time to time? Sure why not, there is always hope things get better. But I know I will never redeem my small $25.25 which is where I have been at for months.

Things are Still Dismal My Bubblews Book is More Fun

Well I decided to write a bit on Bubblews the last week or so. I was bored and wanted to write a little fluff. I must admit that I do miss the simplicity of the site and the layout. The layout is actually easy to work around and pleasing. It is too bad the site is like a graveyard.

I wrote nothing much more than fluff but that is what people liked there last year. I only received around 6 likes and a few comments for the mot part of all of my posts. That is the average.

My last blog on April 18 stated I hit $20.00. Well now I am at a whopping $20.23. So I made .23. Yea that is worth writing the fluff and stuff. Not.  I mostly go there once in a while so I have something to say about it here.

I think my book on Kindle The World of Pooh is much more fun than the actual site.

Update! I Made A Penny

WOW I am finally at $20.00 after months on Bubblews.  I held at $19 for a long time and watched it creep up penny by penny. Granted I don't do much there anymore but even if I did I wouldn't make that much. I am pretty much done with Bubblews. It is a waste of my time and energy and the things people write there for the most part are not that great anyhow. Once in a while there's something good but for the most part it is pooh.

My Bubble Test Results: Earnings Still Too Low

I decided to do a test again on Bubblews to see if maybe the earnings have increased. I'd heard from some writers that they had increased a bit. You have to write at least five posts, share on three sites and communicate with other writers there to earn.

I decided only to take 30 minutes of my life to do this test, my time is just way too valuable to spend anymore than that on Bubblews writing.

I wrote five posts, nothign much, just a bunch of fluff. I did write about my sons play and about a picture I took. The post that got the most attention was the one about what I made for dinner. Go figure.

I shared my posts on G+, Facebook and Twitter. I shared some on Pinterest even though I hate that site and never look at it. I read and commented on others posts. I did only do all of this for 30 minutes.

My findings however were that I earned a whopping 9 cents for my 30 minutes of work. That comes out to 18 cents per hour. Hmm I don't think I can feed my family on that. I might be able to buy a stick of gum in a day or two but we can't survive on gum.

I may go back and check things out again someday. I may not. I just don't find that Bubblews is worth my time right now.

Where are the Sales?

I published my World of Bubblews Fluff and Stuff Book on Kindle Direct, to be purchased at Amazon.com  a couple of months ago hoping that it would do well. It is a book that actually is poking fun at Bubblews by showcasing the fluff articles I wrote there. When I wrote them other members told me they were hilarous. I had some of them laughing very hard. I am not sure it was the post or the fact that many people on Bubblews actually would be taking that stuff seriously.

I also added some of my more quality posts to the book to show that at one time Bubblews was a good place to write. Then I show the decline to a world of fluff and stuff. The crap that really has no meat to it, no quality and is more or less just Facebook worthy.

I hope sales pick up for my book. I am not sure if it is just that people are so mad at Bubblews or that they don't have a Kindle but the book is funny and anyone who belonged to Bubblews would understand it.

Not to reflect on Bubblews itself. It is actually like a graveyard there. Not much going on and what is going on is well, dull. I don't go there much and I must say that I really miss the simplicity of writing there. I miss how I could just watch TV and write a post. It didn't have to even be fluff, at first they could be quality posts but I didn't have to worry about word count and top quality writing. It was relaxed and fun. I find it sad that the site has gone downhill and in reality I am shocked they are still around.

Down to Four

I am still writing for Bubblews but very little. I have four posts there now and they are not posts I worry about saving. I am advertising my book there which is the only real reason I've remained a member.

My bank is at 19.20 now, it has moved I think 3 cents in a week. I know it is due to lack of posts but even when I had my posts there it moved slowly.

I've had some people comment that I'm spreading bad news on one of my posts where I ask why the bank is still there when people don't get paid. I guess I should have asked why it is there when people don't earn. But to some people 5 cents a month is ok.

I have read posts where people love Bubblews because they just love to be able to write. I do not get it, they call what goes on there writing? Hmm to me talking about your day and what you had for dinner is not writing. It is socializing and if you got paid for it like before I would socialize there more. But I also need a place to write. I don't have time to spend 8 or more hours a day socializing for free.

I  guess those who can spend their days on a site where they might earn a dollar in a month if they are lucky have more time on their hands than I do. They must be wealthy and do not need to earn income.

It is not for me...

Deleted!!!!!!!!! All But 3 Posts are Gone!

     I have removed all but three bubblews posts. I am keeping the one about my book and a couple more just to help bring traffic to the one about my book. I do not expect to earn money there and won't waste much time there. It is nice to be done deleting posts.

     It was sad yesterday as I sat there deleting posts. I remembered the times when I could just write simple posts, connect and comment. I knew I was making money so it was fine. Then they changed in July and so much for that. So, now I am done with Bubblews for the most part.

     Many people are still writing there and hoping it will get better. They are living in a dream world. Helium and Yahoo both fell. Bubblews is not far behind. When that happens I am sure this blog will fall too.
It is all good though, I have much more to write about.

Almost Done Deleting Posts! Mixed Emotoins

I have mixed emotions as I am almost done deleting all of my Bubblews posts. I am down to 82 to be exact. I will be very excited to have them all removed. However on the other hand it is sad as I look back on what Bubblews was.

When I joined the site you could post simple stuff, quality work and interact with others. The pay was decent if you were on there a lot. I could make $10.00 a day with minimal effort which was great spending cash. It helped with some utilities while I had fun. I could share on my Facebook wall and get paid for those who viewed my work.

Then things changed and we not longer got paid for outside traffic. Then we did not get paid for views. Then the pay went super low to almost nothing. Man people were cheated and not paid at all. They let people know they do not want quality work and the site went downhill fast.

It makes me sad as I remove all I have done there because it was a good site at one time. But it is not anymore and I do not see things looking up in the world of Bubble Pooh.

Still Deleting, Deleting and Deleting Some More

     I have been working on removing all of my posts from Bubblews. It seems like it is taking forever. I finally decided to set a goal of at least 50 deletes a day. I am now down to 200 posts on that site. I am very excited that I will soon have most of my work gone. I will remain there for a while with my junk posts, stuff I really do not care about and such. I want to promote my book about them there so will keep promoting it until they make me stop.

     The only things I will write for that site are fluff posts that are stupid and useless. I probably will not even spend much time there since it is not a good place to waste my time. I want to focus more time on my blogs.

     I am curious though at the changes they will be making so will most likely remain a member just to see what those are. I find it very sad that the site has gone to the dogs like it has.  It was such a fun site when I joined.

Delete! Delete! Finding Some Cool Ideas as I Delete and Say Goodbye to Pooh

     It is such a pain deleting all of my old posts from Bubblews. I know that I saved many of them when I wrote them but am not sure which ones I actually did save. So as I delete I am trying to save the ones that I think might be useful to me here or someplace else someday.

     As I delete I am discovering a lot of great ideas I had that worked at the time there but no longer since the site has gone to well, the dogs, or as I say pooh. Not the cute cuddly Pooh as in Winnie the Pooh but the other kind of pooh as in crap.

     Back to the neat ideas though, one of them would be a fun blog whenever I get time. A picture story challenge. It was fun on Bubblews because I took pictures I've taken and told the story behind them. I think I will do that in a blog soon too. Other's may not like it but I think it would be fun.

     So with that said, I am back to my job of deleting Bubblews posts. I am at 650 left, ugh. It has taken me what seems like forever to get that far. I will just delete and not save many of them but even that takes  while.  Once I am done then it will be bye bye pooh.

The Jokes on Bubblews

I went to Bubblews the other day and wrote a couple of posts, I got zero likes or comments. I have been at $18.00 for weeks and now am at $18.91. I might actually get to 19 today. I wrote a post and have one comment on it.

You are probably wondering what joke I saw on Bubblews, well there is no joke on there, the joke is the site.

Most of what I see on Bubblews is stuff about well, fluff. Stuff I just am not interested in reading. I go to the home page to see if there's something interesting to read and just move on by. What used to be such a good place to write has just become a huge joke.

I plan to leave the site as soon as I remove all of my post but it sure it taking a long time. I would leave my work there but I don't want them making a dime off of me.

Bubblews is just a joke but not a funny one I might add.

Deleting Bubblews Posts

I have been working on removing all of my posts from Bubblews over the last few weeks. I saved a lot of the work earlier but there was a lot I did not save too so I am saving some of the better posts and also some of the fluff. It has sure been a pain. You have to go back to your profile each time and from there access your posts. Then you delete them. It is proving to be a huge project. I am down to 750 I think. It is hard to tell since their counter is not right either.

As I go through my old posts I see that much of what I wrote will be great for my blog and other posts will work elsewhere. I am not sure how to list some of them on my blog. I might open up a misc blog soon.

I am ready to be done with Bubblews because I have held at $18.00 for over a month now. Earning is so slow and all they want is a bunch of fluff there. I think writing fluff made it harder to write quality posts. But yet in a way it was creative writing so maybe it did not harm me, I think the entire bubblews experience has made me leery of online sites and such. Hopefully one will come up soon where writers can earn a decent amount of money.

Hoping Sales Will Increase

I really don't know what to say about Bubblews except that I see them on their way out. They don't seem to have as many writers and those who are there are willing to write and socialize for free. What, for free?? I wonder who has time to spend on the computer and socialize and write for free? I sure don't.

I wrote my book about Bubblews hoping that a lot of people would see it and want to purchase it. So far though sales are rather disappointing. Hopefully though they will pick up.

World of Bubblews Book of Pooh

I joined the world of Bubblews back in late 2013. When I joined it was a lot of fun. You wrote relaxed articles, read other articles from all around the world and really learned a lot. We also got paid a pretty decent amount for writing and interacting. Then they made changes in July of 2014 that were damaging to the site. The earnings started to decline and then in September I believe it was they made more changes. That made earnings decline even more. October more changes, declining earnings and then the month of November brought about many lost redemptinos. They decided to not pay anyone who redeemed before the month of November. So a lot of folks lost money.

I was one of the few fortuante ones who was paid all I earned. However now I barely earn. I might earn .16 a week. It is not worth that at all in my opinion.

When the stie changed I started writing fluff pieces. It was funny at first but then it became extremely boring. I was told however that my posts were hilarous. Fellow Bubblers said they laughed so hard. I was just writing stupid stuff that had no meaning but it was funny. So after being told that it was funny I tried to think of the most off the wall stuff to write about and well, write. Some Bubblers even took it seriously which was even more entertaining.

I decided to write a book that is full of my fluff posts and a few good ones to show the good and the bad of bubblews. With the help of a friend I published my book at Amazon.com through Kindle Direct. It is a compilation of some of my good posts but mostly contains the fluff.

I hope that you enjoy my book and I will say more about Bubblews later on.
